"A human being should be able to . . . write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall . . . take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal . . . Specialization is for insects."

This website has been created by me, Chris Bartlett mainly as an index site to other websites where further information about me, my life, work and family can be found.
My perfumery business: PellWall-Perfumes.com acts as a point-of-presence on the web for my personal perfume design service and online shop for fragrances I've already designed. I design exclusive bespoke fragrances for individuals or groups to form part of a personal or corporate brand and for other perfume houses. I manufacture high quality, hand-made and very exclusive fragrances myself. There is a Facebook Page and a Perfumery Blog related to this too.
Also mostly business related, thinkers-dinners.com is the website for a series of regular dinners involving confident intellectuals from all walks of life including some people you may have heard of. Full details of who, when, where and what it's all about are on the site. Thinkers-dinners.co.uk redirects to the same site.
This site is temporarily down, so I've redirected it here - if you were hoping to see a copy of my cv just drop me an email and I can easily send one. In the meantime you may find the information about me on LinkedIn and VisibleMe (details below) helpful.
A an entirely personal, family site, poppas-papers.co.uk tells the story of my grandfather, Cyril George Bartlett, a volunteer soldier in the first world war; from the papers he left behind. Cyril fought at Ypres, the Somme and Passchendaele. He also fell in love with the girl who was to be my grandmother, just before he signed up and the site also tells the love-story that develops from the letters and other things he sent home.
I'm quite active on Twitter where I tweet about perfume, perfumery, gardening, non-party politics and dogs (I am owned by four dogs) @PellWallPerfume: if you'd like to follow me, I'll follow back as long as you're not tweeting anything offensive.
Like many professional people, I maintain a profile on the business networking site LinkedIn: if we have met, why not send me a contact request?
Years ago I joined another business networking site, then called Naymz, which had the added feature of reputation scores:
